Letter from Ahlum, Annual Fund, Benefit Concert, Spring Concert, Calendar of Events, Glass Recycling, Teacher Appreciateion
Dear Rio Grande School Families,
We're thrilled to announce that this Sunday, May 12th, marks the grand finale of our annual fundraiser with the RGS Spring into Summer Benefit Concert! This event promises to be a wonderful day filled with music, kids' activities, Mother’s Day gift-making centers, and community spirit. All proceeds from the concert will directly support our Tuition Assistance program, ensuring every child has access to our exceptional educational experience. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has contributed and participated in our fundraising efforts thus far.
The benefit concert represents just one part of our broader Annual Fund Campaign, which plays a crucial role in sustaining and enhancing the quality of education we provide to our students. If you have not yet had the chance to donate, we kindly urge you to consider making a contribution or pledge today. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference. We aim to achieve 100% participation, and all donations are recognized and deeply appreciated. You can visit riogarndeschool.org/annualfund/ to make your pledge or donation today.
Your support is vital in helping us maintain our commitment to excellence in education. We hope to see you all at the benefit concert on Sunday, and we thank you for your continued generosity and dedication to Rio Grande School.
Warm regards,
Ahlum

Your support, whether big or small, makes a significant impact on our teachers' lives and their ability to provide the best education to our students. Rio Grande School truly has the best community, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.
GLASS RECYCLING AT RGS
We are excited to share a wonderful initiative undertaken by our sixth graders in collaboration with Broken Arrow Recycling. Together, they have worked hard to make our school a glass recycling hub for our families. Today, we are thrilled to announce that the recycling barrels have arrived!
Starting immediately, you can bring your glass recyclables to school and deposit them at our designated "recycling center." The barrels will be picked up once a month, helping us reduce waste and promote sustainability within our community.
Additionally, our sixth graders are working with Broken Arrow on a special gift to the school, so stay tuned for more details on that exciting project!
Thank you to our sixth graders and Broken Arrow Recycling for their dedication to making our school a greener, more sustainable place.
