Dear Rio Grande Families,

As part of our ongoing community-building initiatives, we are excited to invite you to our next Family Engagement Night on February 25 from 5:00-7:00pm! These evenings foster connections among families across grade levels, creating a stronger, more unified community.

At our last event, parents enjoyed bike mechanics, blackjack, and cooking activities. This time, we’re offering two engaging options:

🍷 Wine Tasting & Food Pairing

🏓 Pickleball in the Gym

Dinner and childcare will be provided for those who attend. These events are a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow parents, unwind, and strengthen our school community. If you haven’t joined us yet, we encourage you to sign up - returning participants are always welcome!

Please join us in welcoming Paulina Phelps to Upper Aftercare beginning 02/13

I am beyond excited to be joining the Rio Grande School community as the After School Teacher. I bring over six years experience as a teacher working with elementary school ages and am currently in graduate school to receive my Masters in Counseling Psychology with plans to become a child psychologist.

I have certifications in teaching yoga as well as mindfulness and love to bring both into my work. In my free time outside of the classroom, I love hiking with friends and loved ones, playing with my cat Luna, swimming in the ocean (when I am back on the West Coast visiting family), and cooking seasonal foods from the farmers market.

Santa Fe has been home only since this past August and am loving the incredibly expansive sky and kind and artistic community.

Tuition Assistance Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are due by February 3, 2025. Rio Grande School uses Clarity as our third-party Tuition Assistance platform. Clarity offers many resources to help you navigate the relatively simple process including a Family Info Webinar: 12/10/2024 @ 5:30pm PT. This webinar will review the Clarity Application Process.

Don't Forget to Place Your Lunch Orders! February Menu is Now Live!

Due to low order numbers, we have been keeping the ordering window for lunch open.

To ensure your order is received in time it is recommended to place your lunch orders at least a week ahead, for the following week.

Check weekly menus, load your bank, place orders and more at EZ School Apps.

Please ensure your students pack enough snacks to comfortably get them through the school day.
