When a google document is shared with your @povertyactionlab.org email address, you'll receive an email invitation that looks something like this:
What happens when you click the document's link depends on how your @povertyactionlab.org email is configured:
Does not forward @povertyactionlab.org email - Clicking the link will open the document.
Forwards @povertyactionlab.org email to a non-gmail account - Clicking the link will open the document. You may be prompted to enter your @povertyactionlab.org username and password. If you are warned that "you need permission to access this item," click "sign in as a different user," and enter your @povertyactionlab.org username and password.
Forwards @povertyactionlab.org email to another gmail account - Clicking the link will open a page warning that you "need permission to access this item." This is because they are logged in with a non-@povertyactionlab.org email account that doesn't have access to the document. You can either click "sign in as a different user," and enter your @povertyactionlab.org username and password, or you can click "Request access," which will send an email to the document's owner asking them to grant access to your non-@povertyactionlab.org gmail account.
