J-PAL North America’s communications team has three primary goals/responsibilities:
Increase visibility and awareness of the value and process of RCTs and applying evidence
Increase visibility and usage of J-PAL's services and resources on capacity building and rigorous research development and implementation
Increase visibility and usage of results from individual evaluations and evidence syntheses produced by the J-PAL network
The “all comms” team is made up of a “core” comms team and communications “liaisons.” For more information on the team’s goals, structure, and staffing, please refer to:

To select an image for a communications product, please:
Visit shutterstock.com and search for images that align with the written product
Ensure the image aligns with Inclusive Visual Communications Guidelines
Email design@povertyactionlab.org with the image link, what it’s for, and your timeline. For example:
Hello design team, I am writing to request this image for a blog I’m writing about tutoring. The piece will be live two weeks from today. Thank you for your help! Best, Laina
A member of the design team will likely write back within two business days with the image and caption (usually “Photo: Shutterstock.com”). In some circumstances, (often if the image does not align with J-PAL’s Inclusive Visual Communications Guidelines), the design team may suggest alternative image options.
Additional instructions for working with the global design team, please refer to the global knowledge base.
