ALL ABOUT ME!
ALL ABOUT ME!
Hi! Welcome :)
How I used AI: I used ChatGPT.com to learn more information on all five of the educational philosophies. After learning information on each of the philosophies I was able to develop what I want my own teaching style to look like in the future. I also used Canva to help create my AI image which depicts an essentialism-style classroom with a teacher dedicated to students' success and eagerness to learn!

Hi Abbie I love the look of your All About Me. It is so cute and fun. Your puppies are so adorable in love!! I love the teacher you are going to be. You sound like you will be an amazing teacher and a role model to your students. -Madi
Hi Abbie, I love your page, it's so creative and welcoming! You made a lot of great points, especially when you said that no amount of classes will prepare us! Im anxious and excited as well to start my official teaching career. I loved reading about the teacher you will become, althought I picked progressive myself, I think yours is probably more realistic. The standards and the curriculum aren't going anywhere, if anything they are getting more rigid. I love that you are focused on academics and social skills, both incredibly important. With your passion and teaching philosophy I think you will be amazing!!

I really liked your presentaiton because you educational philosophy didnt match mine but your values were somewhat similar. You emphasized how you wanted to make sure every student had a voice and felt important which I hadn't seen from any other people who identified essentialism. This opens my eyes to how you can mix in different aspects of other philosophies to create your own. -Ian Halteh
Hi Abbie,
I loved your design of your about me page. I definitely agree that as a teacher there is always something to learn and I feel that, that's the good thing about being a teacher. I wish you the best on your teaching journey!! - Makayla Jones
I love that you recoignize that all students leanr at different levels and different rates. That is soemthing that I have been learning in my other classes. Every students needs a different style and different pace learning and I think that you will do amazing at adapting to that.
Hi Abbie! I adore the overall theme of your page, its very cute. I liked that you pointed out that no amount of schooling can really prepare you for what's to come, we can only try our best. I think with your mindset and willingness to adapt and continue to learn, you will have a great teaching career! Mac and cheese is a staple in our household too lol -Alyson Kelley
I enjoyed reading your About the Author page since it was so colorful and fun. I love how you incorporated a nice flashy background. Glad you decided to go to Old Dominion University after spending two years at your local community college. One thing that shocked me was your preferred teaching educational philosophy. When I was reading / learning about educational philosophy, for some reason I came to the conclusion that essentialism was a pretty bland and boring way of teaching. So, when I read that you preferred this style it shocked me. Your flashy, bright personality paired with an essentialism teaching style is a great matching, ensuring a fun and productive class. - Rj Mendoza
