Lunch Menu # 2 (Week of September 22-26)
Dear Elementary Parents and Community,
Tuesday's Parade of Nations was a beautiful celebration of our school’s rich diversity and spirit of unity. Seeing our students proudly represent their countries reminded us how fortunate we are to learn and grow in such an international community. The energy and joy of the event truly reflected the heart of Nova. It was especially meaningful to honor our host nation, North Macedonia, with the wonderful performance from the national dance troupe—a reminder of the culture and traditions that warmly welcome us here. I saw students participate with pride. Thank you to those of you who were able to join us today.

Featured Learning
First Graders Discover Connections in Our NOVA Community
Our first-grade classes are currently exploring the “Who We Are” PYP Unit, learning about how members of a community are connected and rely on one another. Recently, students received photos of NOVA community members and worked to sort them based on the jobs they thought these individuals hold.
Following this, many of those community members visited the classrooms to share insights about their roles. This hands-on experience has been a fun and meaningful way for students to understand how we are all connected here at NOVA.
