Lunch Menu # 1 (Week of November 17-21)
Dear Elementary Parents and Community,
We’ve been fortunate to have great weather this week, allowing our students plenty of time to play outdoors! Movement breaks are so important for helping children stay focused and energized during their learning. As temperatures begin to drop, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor play — we will continue to go outside whenever possible.
A big thank-you to everyone who joined us for ES Movie Night last Friday. The students had a wonderful time! Please remember that this event is not a drop-off activity — all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the evening. Fifteen students did not have a parent with them. While these unsupervised students behaved well, it remained a safety concern, and we appreciate your support in keeping all of our students safe.
Featured Learning
Second Graders Finish Unit: Where We Are in Place and Time
Our second graders wrapped up their second Unit of Inquiry, Where We Are in Place and Time, with an exciting museum exhibition for families. Students created fossils and coprolites, built models of homes from various historical periods, and shared their learning through research and informative posters. Their creative exhibits brought history to life and showcased all they’ve discovered about how people and places have changed over time.
