Lunch Menu # 1 (Week of April 14-17)
Dear Elementary Parents and Community,
Parent-teacher conferences on April 2 and 3 are an important opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school. These conversations allow families and teachers to come together with a shared focus: understanding each child’s progress, growth, and next steps. When we take the time to connect, we build a more complete picture of each student, combining what we see at school with what families observe at home. This shared understanding helps us support students more effectively, both academically and socially.
Attending a conference also sends a powerful message to children that their learning matters and that the adults in their lives are working together to support them. Strong partnerships between families and schools create consistency, trust, and clarity for students. We encourage all families to make time for a conference, as these moments of connection play a meaningful role in helping each child feel supported, confident, and ready to grow.
It's not too late to sign up for your conferences!

IDEAL Workshops
On Monday, April 27, NOVA will host the IDEAL Workshops. These volunteers are young leaders from Southeast Europe with U.S. exchange experience (YES/FLEX programs). They will lead interactive, age-appropriate sessions for our grade 3 - 5 students, focused on: Civic Education & International Relations, Health & Wellbeing, and Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship. This learning experience has been organized by American Councils.

Don't forget to look through the Lost & Found items while you're here for conferences!
With this, I wish you a great spring break.
