An employee will be appointed to any of the following statuses:

  1. Full-Time

  2. 100-Hour

  3. Part-Time

2.3.1 Full-Time Employment Status

A full-time employee works or uses approved leave for the standard number of hours in an NKY Health workweek during any week the employee is scheduled to work.

2.3.2 100-Hour Employment Status

A 100-hour employee works or uses approved leave for more than twenty-two-and-one-half (22.5) hours per week, but less than the standard number of hours in an NKY Health workweek during any week she/he is scheduled to work.

2.3.3 Part-Time Employment Status

A part-time employee works or uses approved leave up to but not to exceed forty-five (45) hours per pay period during any pay period she/he is scheduled to work. With supervisor’s approval, the employee may work up to twenty-five (25) hours in one workweek and fewer hours in the other workweek to equal no more than the scheduled number of hours in the pay period. A part-time employee can be a contract employee (see section 2.2.3) or a merit system employee (see section 2.2.2.)
