NKY Health relies on employees to voluntarily self-identify their demographic information. This data, including gender, race, ethnicity, and veteran status, is maintained in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Employees are encouraged to log into ADP's WFN (Workforce Now) and review or update their demographic information on the personal information section.
For guidance on setting up or modifying personal information, please refer to ADP's Workforce Now (WFN).
Employees are encouraged to share NKY Health's job postings and may invite external individuals to refer potential candidates for employment.
When sharing a job posting to seek referrals, employees must provide a "Notice to Referral Sources" at the time of the initial request and annually on July 1 (or the next business day if July 1 falls on a weekend or holiday).
To ensure consistency, please copy and paste the language from the model notice below into an email with the subject line "Notice to Referral Sources" and send it to the referral source with a CC to the HR Manager.

SUBJECT: EEO Notice to Referral Source
Since you or your organization is a source of referrals for employment opportunities with our organization, we wish to take this occasion to restate, in writing, our employment policy. Quoting from that policy: “It is the policy of Northern Kentucky Health Department to encourage and support equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment without regard to age (40 or over), HIV/AIDS status, race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, childbirth, pregnancy/childbirth related medical conditions, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, family status, smoker status, genetic information or any other legally protected classification except where a bona fide occupational qualification applies. Employment decisions will be evaluated on the basis of an individual’s skills, knowledge, abilities, job performance, and other legitimate qualifications. Equal Employment Opportunity is among the highest priorities for NKY Health.”
In keeping with the above policy statement, we request that your organization refer qualified applicants to us without regard to age (40 or over), HIV/AIDS status, race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, family status, smoker status, and/or genetic information.
Job vacancies not filled through internal transfer are posted on the Careers at NKY Health page of our website. Human Resources can be reached by email at hr@nkyhealth.org or by phone at 859-344-5476.
We ask that you retain this email in your Northern Kentucky Health Department file for future reference and share it with others at your organization. Your assistance and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
