Prayas is a Hindi word that means ‘Efforts’. The idea of naming the organisation as ‘Prayas’ was to give an Indian touch and show the motive of the organisation that is by putting some efforts, one can change someone’s life.
The tagline ‘Awareness and Classification of Differently abled in para sports’ tells about the core objective and the purpose the organisation serves. The tagline is simple and crisp that can convey the meaning easily to anyone not acquainted with the organisation.
The visual language has to be extremely simple, neat and clear, the target being differently abled people.
The typeface Century Gothic has been chosen for its fine curve and boldness to keep the branding strong, minimal and also to stand out to help communicate with long distance.
Calibri font is used for the sub heading.
Grid system was used to give a good alignment to the wordmark. It created equal adjustment space simultaneously between each letter.
