Spatial Experience Design

The space for the workshop was decided on the following factors :

• The workshop was held in the premises of the Orphanage. Familiar space helps children to get comfortable in the process of interaction and increase their involvement in the process.

• For Day-1 workshop the interaction with care giver was done in a secluded space in the Orphanage where these caregivers can openly talk about the issues regarding the care given to the children and how does children respond to them?

• Foe Day-2 workshop the activities were done in the common space of the Orphanage (Open courtyard and Garden) where the children and the caregiver interact on the daily basis. Due to the open space children felt free to explore without any restrictions.

• All the takeaways and posters were displayed in the common space only which reminds children of the great time spent with the caregivers and becomes a starting point of the conversation on the daily basis.
