Objectives

• Pacifying curiosity of siblings about the situation of their special sibling

• To help them vent out their emotions through provision of a platform where they can be heard; similar situation kids coming together

• To acquaint parents of the needs of the sibling of special child

• Bringing special child and sibling together and engaging them in a fun activity to strengthen their bond

• Enabling siblings to carry forward the takeaways of the workshop

• Giving enough opportunities to the siblings to encourage acceptance of the situation

• Gamifying lessons for making it easy to learn

• Helping normal sibling come out of the emotional isolation and helping them perform better in all walks of life

Plan of Action

• Approaching organisations working towards needs of special children with our business proposal, for collaboration

• Receiving information from organisation about the participants and their family backgrounds

• Do further background study of the participants and their special siblings at the same time, procurement of material for workshop

• Arranging seating and refreshment for the service day

• Conducting activities that make siblings stress-free, sharing of experiences etc.

• Helping special children and their siblings bond over a fun activity

• Providing siblings of special children with an activity kit that they can take back home and continue using in coordination with the parent

• To render expertise for guidance during execution of service by way of specialist

• Plan to conduct the workshop for the same set of kids, once in two weeks, four sessions
