Corné van der Vyver

Professional appointment: Associate Professor Professional profile: Corné (CP) van der Vyver is associate professor in the School for Education Studies in the Faculty of Education Sciences at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom campus, South Africa. He completed his undergraduate studies as well as his MEd at the University of the Free State and his PhD at the North-West University (NWU) in 2011. He was an educator in physical sciences for fifteen years, of which he served fiveyears on the school management team, before being appointed at the NWU in 2005. He currently lectures undergraduate and postgraduate students in Educational research in the School of Professional Studies in Education at NWU. He also acts as external examiner and moderator for modules offered at other universities, nationally. His research focus is education management and leadership and he has successfully supervised several masters and PhD students in this field and acts as external examiner for dissertations and theses in the field for other universities. He has published nationally and internationally in accredited academic publications and has also delivered papers at national and international conferences. He also acts as reviewer of academic articles for several scientific journals.
