Safety
What should you do to be safe at the competition:
keep long hair tied back- you don't want your hair to get caught in any gears or moving parts!
wear glasses- protects your eyes from all flying objects
be wary of lose clothing- clothes can get caught in gears and swinging arms
watch out for sharp points on the robot- sharp points on the robot can easily cut/scrape you if you aren't careful
power off robot while it's on a table- it would be very bad if you were testing your arm/motors and you drove your robot off of the table, breaking it
Why is it important to...
have the power switch- if your robot starts going out of control and the driver hub isn't fixing it, the power switch is the easiest thing to get to in order to turn the robot off.
