Today Mr Newman told me to work on the claw I did the best I could with the time remaining other than that I helped Lauren the best I could.

Today, I tried to make a gear and chain system in order to make the claw extend when the lift raises.

I started to add a sprocket at the front of the lift that was stationary, and a sprocket that did move at the bottom of the lift like Mr. Newman said, however, this did not work. When the robot would raise the lift, the claw would not extend.

In order to fix this problem, I went in and attatched the movable sprocket that is attatched to the lift motor, and attatcked it to a moving sproket on the end of the lift. This effectively moved the claw, however it did not finish.

Today, Katie needs to work on the claw and attatching metal parts to the servo instead of linking it to the foam parts.

Today Mr. Newman helped me redo the claw. It is kind of hard for me to explain so I included a lot of photos, but basically there is one stationary piece attached to the servo with the claw. There is the other piece that is directly attached to the servo which will open and close when necessary. The servo is attached to a bracket with another servo so that it can turn upside down. Attached to that servo, is a larger piece which will go onto the lift.
