There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious. ~ Carl Jung

Shadow Work is about making the unconscious conscious, with the objective of integrating one's Light and Shadow in comm-union, so that you can become more conscious, self-aware, considerate, self-loving, integrated, and whole.
Details of Shadow Work are explained in videos below. Integrating one's Shadow is part of Oneness Work, i.e., of becoming ONE integrated, healthy whole.
When considering an applicant for Lily Activation, the Beloveds of the Christ Office evaluate the degree to which you are aware of your Shadow side, and in comm-union with it at the heart in unconditional love.
Those who do Shadow Work with a Jungian-based psychotherapist or counselor benefit from the counselor's experience. They typically progress faster compared to those who aren't working with a counselor.
Shadow Work, as an internal and external discipline, is advisable but not required for the White and Gold Lily Activations. However, it is required for the Platinum, Iridescent, and Diamond Lily Activations.
Those who are more conscious and integrated as a result of Shadow Work enjoy more success and balance before and after a Lily Activation compared to those who aren't.

Oneness Work is about consciously working to become whole and integrated in body, mind, and soul.
Those who are more conscious and integrated, as a result of practicing Oneness, enjoy more success and balance in their life, compared to the those who are not. A psychologically healthy individual is said to be integrated in mind, body and soul, with no energy leakage from any disintegrated parts.
One cannot speak about "becoming conscious, integrated, and whole" (i.e., Oneness Work) without doing Shadow Work. Oneness Work and Shadow Work go hand in hand.
Those who work on Oneness with a Jungian psycho-spiritual counselor benefit from the counselor's experience. They typically progress faster compared to those who aren't working with a counselor.

The more conscious and integrated you are, the better your chances of being approved by the Christ Office for a Lily Activation. The more experienced you are on the work of Oneness, the more you'll gain from a Lily Activation, and the better off you'll be post-activation.
