Promotion Requirements
Promotion to grade 10: Must have a minimum of 5 credits & must include 1 Math and 1 English
Promotion to grade 11: Must have a minimum of 10 credits to include: two English (English 1 and 2), two math credits, one science credits, five additional credits
Promotion to grade 12: Must pass a minimum of 18 credits which equates to passing ¾ of their classes
You must have met all state and district attendance requirements as well.

SC Graduation Requirements & GPA Scale
The way you compute your (weighted) SC UGP is to add up the points (look under the column of the type of class you took) and then divide by the number of classes. So if you got a 95 in a college prep course give yourself 4.5 points; if it was an honors course, give yourself 5.0 points; and if it was an AP or Dual Enrollment course, give yourself 5.5 points.
