ILHS AP Testing Eligibility
Active ILHS Students: Must be currently enrolled and hold a seat in the specific AP course offered by ILHS.
SC Home School Option 3 Students: Eligible to test for AP courses offered at ILHS.
Lancaster County School District (LCSD) Policy
No Exam-Only Testing: LCSD prohibits students from taking AP exams without course enrollment.
Non-Student Exclusion: Students not actively registered in an ILHS AP course (or enrolled under SC HS Option 3) cannot test at ILHS.
ILHS AP Information:
Some changes have been made since this presentation was posted. All AP courses are a semester long, except for APUSH. For APUSH, you will take Intro to US History Honors in the fall and AP US History in the spring. English, math, and science AP courses have pre-requisites of the respective honors level course. You may take and pass the honors course the semester before the AP course or at any time before.
