Established in 2007, Indian Land High School (ILHS) is located in the panhandle of Lancaster County, SC just outside the greater Charlotte, NC metro area. ILHS is a comprehensive high school with a Career and Technology Education (CTE) program that provides students with an opportunity to explore career options ranging from construction to engineering. Our school offers Project Lead the Way (PLTW) classes in both engineering and biomedical science. In addition, ILHS partners with the University of South Carolina-Lancaster, Winthrop University, and York Technical College  for dual credit opportunities. 

Mission

The mission of Indian Land High School is to set high expectations through a comprehensive educational program that recognizes individual student needs, challenges them and prepares all students to become productive, responsible citizens of a diverse community.

The faculty consists of  certified staff members, including the principal, 6 administrators, 86 teachers, and 6 counselors. 52% of the faculty have advanced degrees and several also teach classes at the college level. Seven faculty members hold National Board Certification.
