Courses
You may take any courses YTC has to offer. However, the courses listed below are the ONLY YTC courses that will be listed on your ILHS transcript and count for high school credit. If you are also working on a YTC associate's degree, you should cross references high school graduation requirements with the YTC degree requirements when planning your course schedules. Remember not all credits will transfer to your next college, so you need to do your research with that particular college.
York Technical College Courses that Count for Dual Credit
Admission Requirements for Dual Enrollment:
1. Complete and submit an admissions application at www.yorktech.edu/apply.
2. Submit an official high school transcript with a GPA of 2.7 or higher through December 2025.
Beginning with Spring 2026 applicants, a 3.0 unweighted GPA will be required for direct admission
or take the College’s placement method.
3. Submit applicable SAT 2016 or ACT scores from within the last five years.
4. Submit official college transcripts with previous college credit earned for evaluation of transfer
credit (See College Transfer Credit).
