Dear Brown School Family,
As we work together to maintain a healthy and safe environment for all our students, we kindly remind you of a few important guidelines regarding illness and prevention:
Keep Sick Students Home
â€ïž Students must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school.
𧥠If your student has symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, an undiagnosed rash, or other contagious conditions, please keep them home until they are fully recovered.
Practice Good Hygiene
đ Encourage frequent handwashing with soap and water at home and remind your students to do the same at school. We encourage handwashing as well as the use of additional hand sanitizer.
đ Remind your student to sneeze or cough into their elbow to prevent the spread of germs.
Prevention Measures
đ©” Reinforce the importance of not sharing food, drinks, or personal items such as hats with others.
đ Promote healthy habits such as eating nutritious meals, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep to boost their immune systems.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school community healthy. Your efforts make a big difference in reducing the spread of illness and ensuring a safe environment for all. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contract our school nurse Marie Kincaid.
Love,
Dr. Angela
