Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway
For the second year, PDE is supporting work with the Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway. This year, IU1 is hosting two workshops to continue this work with a focus around Computer Science integration.
We are looking for school district teams of 3-5 educators to attend this two-day workshop. These workshops are for teams of educators and not for individuals by themselves. You may choose to focus on district-wide integration or any combination of elementary, middle, and high school. Teams should include both teachers and administrators.
How to Choose Your Leadership Team
Overview of Workshops
Day 1- February 21, 2019- Emerging Workshop- Complete the self-evaluation and begin work on an Action Plan for developing a scope and sequence for computer science within the district.
Day 2- March 7, 2019- Progressing/Advancing Workshop- Overview and exploration of available resources (Lending Library), continued planning and writing of scope and sequence
