Faculty uploading content into a blank template or using a Personal MASTER will have three alternative syllabus templates to choose from, all revised effective Summer 2021:
CORE Course Syllabus Template with COVID language
Graduate Syllabus Template with COVID language
Undergraduate Syllabus Template with COVID language
To download, select the Download this Template below the image you wish to use. Another alternative is to click on the image below (e.g., CORE Course Syllabus Template, Graduate Syllabus Template or Undergraduate Syllabus Template) or the black arrow box in the top right corner of the image. It will open the document in another screen. To download, locate and select the 3 dots on the right side of the screen. You will then be given the option to download the document to your device.
At your discretion, you may choose to insert requirements for your class to use the Writing Center, Standalone Turnitin (using Turnitin.com) or the Integrated Turnitin version over the course of the term. Faculty instructions for use and recommended syllabus wording are located in the Faculty Hub under Academic Resources.
For faculty preferring to copy and paste the COVID syllabus addendum wording into their personal document, click on the button below, select the select all and paste the section into your syllabi.
AIEs are course instructional components that capture the various ways learning in accelerated, hybrid, and/or online courses occurs in extension of/beyond the face-to-face classroom time. The AIEs are an essential means of documenting learning that occurs across these varieties of delivery methods. While the documentation component (the AIE sheet) is reserved only for the facilitator and the institution (not shared with students), the implications of the AIEs are embedded in the learning experience of each AIE-supported class.
AIEs for a course are documented in the AIE Worksheet shown below:
Faculty have two options to document their AIEs for their course:
AIE Template - 15 Week Course Instructions and Worksheet - complete and attach to the syllabus
AIE Worksheet in Word format to copy and paste into their course syllabus
To download and use, click on the blue button below and select the 3 dots on the right side of the screen. You will then be given the option to download the document to your device.
Faculty are required to submit their course syllabus and AIE in advance of the start of classes for department review and approval.
Undergraduate faculty, please send your materials to faculty support staff member, Trish Dudkiewicz, at pdudkiewicz@immaculata.edu; she will document receipt of your materials and then forward them to the appropriate department for review.
Graduate faculty, please send your materials to Karen Necker at knecker@immaculata.edu; she will document receipt of your materials and then forward them to the appropriate department for review.
