To navigate this page, please click on the 3 lines to the left for the navigation pane or search using the magnifying glass on the right.
Open a new Chrome browser tab and click on the 9 dot button at the top right of your screen. After which, click on the Sheets button to start your new worksheet. Finally, click on Start a new spreadsheet.
2. Begin by naming the new spreadsheet.
3. For the Flashcards Maker App to work, make sure to complete the two important steps:
Add data to the spreadsheet
In box A1, add the term Question.
In box B1, add the term Answer.
In the respective columns, add your flashcard content.
Publish the spreadsheet
Select File
Publish to the web
Publish

Important: you will not be using the webpage URL shown for the Flashcards Maker tool.
Instead, copy the URL in the address bar at the top of your screen and move to Step Two.
To view how your cards will look, insert the copied address URL from Step One as shown and select Get Data. You can then click on each card which will demonstrate how the cards behave. To prepare and generate a publishable URL for your Moodle course, follow steps 1-5 below.
Having copied the URL from Google Sheets, move to Moodle and select Flashcards Maker from the Tools section on your Moodle navigation panel.
Scroll down and insert the title of your slides into the location indicated.
Paste the saved URL into the Google sheets URL field.
Click on Generate Custom Flashcards APP URL Now!
Your New URL will be shown. Copy this URL to your clipboard and move to Step Three.
Users can update their Google Sheet at any time, edit questions and answers, as well as add additional questions. As this is a Google product, the updates will occur real-time and will appear in your Flashcards simply by refreshing your screen.
In the Flashcards Maker App, select the Instructions tab for FAQs and helpful hints and information on using this tool.
