As an essential tool used in the classroom, Grading Rubrics make the criteria evaluation for performance activity clear to the student in advance of submitting their assignment/paper. Generic rubric samples are published in the Faculty Hub under Academic Resources as Grading Rubric Samples.
Included are:
Grading Rubric for Assignments (40 point)
Grading Rubric for Discussion Boards (20 point)
Grading Rubric for Journals (20 point)
Grading Rubric for Final Summary Paper (100 point)
Grading Rubric for Presentations (100 point)
In the current version of Moodle, assignment, final summary and presentation rubrics have previously been created in Moodle and can be linked to your respective assignment. When attaching these rubrics, grading becomes very quick and easy for the faculty member. Please note, in order to use this function, students must submit their work in PDF format.
