Faculty members are highly encouraged to create their own personal master shells for managing any content they use regularly in their courses.
Individual faculty may have one master shell per course number. Courses are located on Moodle within MASTERS-GRAD or UGRAD Online and will be named according to the naming convention (established June 2018): MASTER-Course Number-Faculty last name (for example MASTER-PSY208-SMITH). Should faculty request further labeling for their masters, it may be added but must begin with this prefix.
Faculty may import content from their Master shell to the live shell once those live shells are visible to them in their personal list of courses on Moodle. The content of personal master shells are not available for automated movement to live courses, so faculty are responsible for uploading their master content into live shells.
NOTE: Effective Summer, 2019, all courses either face-to-face or online will be required to upload, at minimum the course syllabus, to be visible to the students no later than 7 days in advance of the course start date.
