Course overview - Rotation 4 and 5
During the first half term - rotation 4, learners will have the choice to participate in Short Tennis or Table Tennis. The focus of the sessions is to develop coordination and agility as well as specific racket skills. Learning how to play a variety of forehand and backhand shots. Understanding and implementing rules and scoring games accurately.
During the second half term - rotation 5, learners will have the choice to participate in Fitness or Basketball. The focus for the fitness sessions will be learning what the different types of fitness are, how to test them and how to improve them. The focus for basketball will be to apply the strategies learned during the first term to a different invasion game.

Assessment Points:
One skills and gameplay or fitness assessment per half term with a milestone assessment during each half term to highlight areas for improvement:

Guidance:
Learners will receive, mainly verbal guidance throughout each session. This will be recorded by learners once per half term.
