Course overview - Study Period 2 - Unit 3 - Introduction to Microsoft Word
Unit 1 - Learners will begin their journey in familiarizing themselves with their iPads and how to maintain them, with also an understanding how the school PCs link with the Google Software, and how to manage their Digital files.
Unit 2 - Learners will be taught how to be more digitally aware and safe with topics to include Social Networking, Keeping your Data Safe and how to utilize search engines when performing online searches. At the end of this Unit of Work, learners will have the opportunity to visit “IDEA” website, where they will commence the start of earning their Digital Bronze Award .
Unit 3 - Learners will commence Unit 3 which is an introduction to the Microsoft Office “Word”. Learners will understand how to utilize the tool bars to achieve formatting, and displaying a variety of different Word documents.

Unit 2 – Using Computers Effectively
Seven week block of work – End of Unit Summative Assessment in Week 6.

Seven week block with an End of Unit Summative Assessment in Week 6.
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, reports, verbal feedback, written feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, Google Classroom and whole class feedback.
