Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
During the first half term - rotation 1, learners will have the choice to participate in Netball or Rugby. The focus of the sessions is to build on the skills and strategies developed in C7. Continuing full netball or moving onto the next age grade rugby stage (U13). Learners will learn more advanced strategies for attacking and defending. Develop their decision making by being more aware of how other players' movement and positioning should impact what they do. Continue to develop and implement new rules and playing positions.
During the second half term - rotation 2, learners will have the choice to participate in Football or Dance. The focus for the dance sessions will be to learn a more complex motif and understand how to use choreography to make their dance more interesting. Still focusing on small sections using various choreographic devices. Learners will continue to develop their understanding of aesthetics and performance. The focus for football will be to use their games understanding to positively impact others. How do you lead a team when playing?

Assessment Points:
One skills and gameplay assessment per half term with a milestone assessment during each half term to highlight areas for improvement:
- Rugby or Netball
- Football or Dance
Guidance:
Learners will receive, mainly verbal guidance throughout each session. This will be recorded by learners once per half term.
