Course overview - Study Period 3 and 4 - The orchestral greats
This term C7 will be developing their understanding of music and piano performance skills by exploring the orchestral greats throughout history. We will discover how orchestral music has evolved since the Baroque period through to the 21st Century. Musical features of key composers will be analysed to gain a greater understanding of where music has come from and how today’s music has evolved. Learners will develop their piano skills by learning how to play Beethoven’s ‘Ode To Joy’.
