Course overview French - Study Period 3 and 4
During the third study period - learners have now learnt to compile sentences with descriptions so they can use this in the next topic area when they express their hobbies and interests. They will use this to express whether they like it and why. They will learn new verbs and to conjugate these with the correct present tense regular verb endings. In the context of sport, they will learn how to voice preference with 'bien'.
During the fourth study period -This study period looks at acquiring the vocabulary and grammatical structures for learners to describe their experiences of school. This includes describing school subjects and opinions about them and facilities and equipment in a school. Learners will also have a first opportunity to explore the culture of French speaking countries as they learn about the differences between the French and English school systems.

Written Assessment to be marked formally and written feedback provided
A reading or listening assessment
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of including class tasks .
