Course overview - Study Period 3 and 4 - Lose yourself in imagination
Learners will be looking at a script called 'Ernie's Incredible illucinations' they will reproduce their own versions of the script using technique exploration and develop whole class performances for a live audience. They will learn to work on a script and look at the stage directions as well as direct their own moments, even creating what could happen in the next scenes and manipulating the story. Learners will focus on the practitioner Brecht and the genre of Theatre in Education when exploring this script, developing an awareness for the different techniques each uses. Learners will work on developing a learning log, that will capture and evidence their learning journey, this can be used to help guide others and themselves later on in their education.
