Home Economics

Term 3:

We studied Home Economics in term 3 with Ms. N Daly.

While in lockdown we:

• Learned about food labelling

• Symbols on packaging

• Sugar content of food

We made:

• Cupcakes with fruit

• Spaghetti Bolognese

• Lasagna

• Easter cupcakes (we had to fill in a worksheet about this with possible ideas, analysis etc.)

We had to write and evaluation and submit a picture of each of these.

When we came back to school learned about nutrients and made:

• Chicken curry

• Spice bag

• Mars bar traybake brownie squares
