Accounting

Term 2:

We studied Accounting with Mr. O'Grady in term 2.

I did business studies in junior cert but what we did this term in accounting was totally different

We learned about:

• Job Costing

• Absorption Rates

• Fixed costs

• Variable costs

• Breakeven point

Leaving Cert Accounting is very much numbers and there is either a right/wrong answer. That's what I like about it, so I think I might choose this subject for leaving cert.

It would obviously help to have done accounts in junior cert but it probably much of a difference if you haven't done it before
