Term 1:
In term one, we finished off some work in French that we missed out on last year due to school closures. We had Ms. Clarson for this.
We did lots of reading in French while underlining verbs and writing the translation of new words.
We used sheets to help us write about our weekly routine.
We learned the imperfect tense (type of past tense).
We read some comprehensions.
While in the computer room, we typed up what we had written about our daily routine in a word document and gave it to Ms. Clarson who corrected any mistakes.

Term 2:
In term 2, we focused on the oral exam
We each did an oral with Ms. Davis
We talked about:

Our house
Our school
Our uniform
We also watched a movie in French called "The Climb" on Netflix!
Term 3:
In term 3, we also focused on oral work with Ms. Clarson, who printed off some sheets she had done up for Sixth Years doing their orals at the time.
While in lockdown we:
Read through oral questions
Read sample answers
Wrote answers to simple questions, like when is your birthday?
We described out local area (present tense)
We wrote about what we did last weekend (past tense)
When we came back to school we:
We wrote about what we will do during the summer holidays (future tense)
Practiced speaking French a lot
Read a reading comprehension about France in French
I really enjoy learning French and I'd love to visit the country at some point.
Here is what I did at the weekend - using the past tense:
