History

Term 2:

We studied History with Mr. Finn in term 2.

I didn't do history for my junior cert, so I was looking forward to it.

Firstly we discussed why people study history

Then we had to pick anyone/anything from history that interests us and present a 4 minute PowerPoint about it in front of the class.

• I researched about the Life of Bobby Kennedy

• I actually really enjoyed this, I found it very interesting and it made me want to learn more

• We had to learn off our presentations and have a mostly image based PowerPoint. While this was difficult I think it was a great idea. If I have to do presentations from now on I will definitely try to learn it off. It doesn't just look better, it actually helped me understand my topic more than just ready information form a slide.

I probably won't take up history for the leaving cert because I don't know much about it, while other people will have studied it in junior cert. I think it would be a good subject to study though. I found this class very enjoyable.
