Geography

Term 1:

We studied geography in term one with Ms. Curtin. During this time we learned about the different regions of Ireland, some countries in the EU as well as poverty in Africa. I found this subject interesting, and I also did geography for my junior cert so this previous knowledge helped me.

We looked at:

• Counties in Ireland

• Rivers and Mountains in Ireland

• Differences between the West and Greater Dublin Area (GDA) of Ireland

• EU membership

• Countries in Africa

• Poverty in Africa

• Lots more!

We also had to create a PowerPoint presentation on any country in the EU. I chose Belgium, because my aunt lived there for a while and I wanted to learn more about the country. Here is my presentation:
