CANADIAN FORCES FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE BRIDGE CITY SASKTEL PIONEERS - $500 - Due May 15th
: The SaskTel Pioneers is a network of volunteers who effect immediate, tangible change in local communities. One of the pillars of support that the Pioneers provide is to the Canadian Armed Forces. As such, we want to provide this scholarship to support a child or dependant of a current or former member of the Canadian Armed Forces who is graduating from grade 12 this school year. Priority will be given to students who will be going on to post secondary education, but applicants who are not pursuing post secondary education will also be considered. V
Eligibility Criteria:
• Must be a Grade 12 student in good academic standing at either GSCS or SPSD schools.
• Must be a child or dependent of a current or former serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) o Student must provide proof of parent or guardian’s service in the CAF such as a copy of a Military Service Identification Card, a Veteran’s Service Card, or a Certificate of Service.
• Must demonstrate good character and involvement or support in the school or community as recognized or recommended by SPSD/GSCS teachers and staff
To be considered for this scholarship, a student must apply to their respective student services team/individuals and:
• provide copies of the proof of their parent/guardian’s current or former service with the CAF as outlined above.
• Provide a 250-word description of how they are active in their school and community, highlighting volunteerism and good character.

Collision Plus Trade Scholarship - $500
This scholarship is awarded to a graduate from Greater Saskatoon Catholic high schools. The recipient of this $500 award must be actively pursuing a career as an Auto Body Technician. Application is made through submission of a Resume and a letter outlining career goals. Candidates will be interviewed by a selection committee. In order to be considered, have your application in to Student Services at your high school by May 10.
Hy-Tech Drilling Scholarships
Hy-Tech Drilling Indigenous Scholarship: This scholarship is open to Indigenous students and mature students. The scholarship will provide $1,000 to cover tuition and related expenses.
Creative Arts Scholarship: This scholarship is open to students pursuing a full-time post secondary education within a creative arts discipline who reside across Canada where Hy-Tech Drilling operates. The scholarship will provide $1,000 to cover tuition and related expenses.
Left Lateral Leap Scholarship: This scholarship is open to students across Canada where Hy-Tech Drilling operates. The scholarship will provide $1,000 to cover tuition and related expenses.
Mechanical Mind Scholarship: This scholarship is open to students pursuing an educational path in welding, machining, or mechanics who reside across Canada where Hy-Tech Drilling operates. The scholarship will provide $1,500 to cover tuition and related expenses.

Jean Lumb Awards - $1,000
Jean Lumb, C.M. (1919-2002), was the first Chinese Canadian woman to receive the Order of Canada. Luke Santi Memorial Award - $1,000
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must have a minimum 80% average overall and demonstrate a passion for physics outside of the normal academic environment (e.g. being a member of a local amateur astronomy club, volunteering with a physics association, etc).

MADD Canada Bursaries - $4,000 to $8,000
MADD Canada’s Bursary Program is open to Canadian citizens who have themselves been severely injured or who have had a parent (or legal guardian) or sibling killed or severely injured as a result of an impaired driving crash and who are enrolled in a full-time, ministry-approved, post-secondary educational program. Injuries must be catastrophic or severe and have had a significant impact on the applicants’ lives. Proof of injury and relation to impaired driving will be required. The Charles Labatiuk Scholarship Award was established through the legacy gift of Charles Labatiuk and the Charles Labatiuk Nature Endowment Fund. Charles Labatiuk was an avid nature conservationist, mountaineer, and world traveler who enjoyed and excelled as a photographer, writer, gardener, and pianist. These awards were introduced to honour his life and his passion for nature.
