Registration 101

Course registration opens April 4, 2024 for all students new to the University of Alberta. Students who have accepted their offer and paid their tuition deposit can view and register for their first year courses via Bear Tracks*.

We have specialized course registration resources at uab.ca/reg101, including virtual workshops, self-guided modules and tip sheets.

One of the first steps in a student’s post-secondary journey is registering in their classes, which is why we have a multitude of resources to make course registration a breeze.

Registration for faculty-specific Registration 101 workshops is now available. At these sessions students will learn how to navigate course registration and get advice on which courses to take. We also have self-guided modules and tip sheets for students who prefer to move at their own pace.
