Admission on the Spot is available several times throughout the academic year.
A) Fall Open House
As part of Fall Open House, students can apply to the University of Regina for a reduced application fee and be admitted on the spot. Here's how:
Option One: Apply online (application opens on a different date each year) and pick up the application decision during Fall Open House. Students can upload their current high school transcript and class schedule to the online application.
Option Two: Apply in person during Fall Open House and receive the application decision on the spot. Students should bring their current high school transcript and class schedule to the event
B) Standalone Events

Eligibility: All current Grade 12 students are eligible to apply for admission to all U of R programs during Admission on the Spot except for those applying to le Baccalauréat en éducation, the Indigenous Education program, Music Education, or the Bachelor of Science in Nursing as those programs require completion of additional admission requirements. Students can still take advantage of the discounted application fee by applying to a second choice program.

Note: Students are eligible to apply for admission to all U of R graduate and undergraduate programs during Half-Price Application Week, except for those applying to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as students must apply for admission through Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Prospective nursing students can still take advantage of the discounted application fee by applying to a second-choice program at the University of Regina.

To opt into the Really BIG deal, you must first apply and be accepted to Housing and Hospitality Services, then opt into the residence and tuition savings offer. Students in any year of study can apply and you can submit both your residence and your opt-in form at the same time.

The U of R offers "High School Accelerated" programs to help high school students take credit courses that will count towards a university degree. This allows them to ease into a university workload and challenge themselves with course material not offered in high school. The best part: TWO CREDITS (1 high school and 1 university)
