MBA Career Center Code of Conduct

Representing and enhancing the Georgetown McDonough brand in a positive and professional manner is an important, shared responsibility. Students are expected to represent both themselves and the school in a manner that demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Reneging on an accept job offer

Students who have accepted an offer of employment are expected to uphold that commitment. If a student is reconsidering an offer that has already been accepted, whether verbally or in writing, the MBA Career Center should be notified immediately. Reneging on an accepted offer is a serious offense that damages the reputation of the student and Georgetown McDonough. Renege penalties are adjudicated by the Community Standards Board. The potential consequence for reneging on an accepted offer is immediate cessation of the MBA Career Center resources, including MCV access and non-eligibility for all MBA Alumni Career Services for up to 20 years
