Campaign Rules and LOI Submission
Campaigning is asking or encouraging someone to vote for you.
You may ask students for their thoughts and opinions to inform your LOI, but you may not ask or encourage them to vote for you or publicly campaign through posters, social media, speeches, etc. before the deadline.
Campaigning is only allowed once the LOIs have been publicly posted by the SGA.
No outside money (other than printing dollars, see below) may be used in the campaign process.
Posters or flyers can only be distributed in the Commons, not in other parts of Hariri.
Printing dollars are the only form of money that may be used in the campaigning process.
Each P/EVP slate will be allowed to send one email through each of their respective class (FT/FX) listservs.
Any violation(s) of any of these rules or regulations will result in a withdrawal from the ticket and the student in violation will not be permitted to run for their desire permission.
Negative campaigning in any form against another candidate is not allowed and is grounds for disqualification.
