The MBA Program at the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, honors staff, faculty, and graduating MBA students—including organization leaders—who have made outstanding contributions to the community.
These MBA Awards recognize individuals who exemplify the exceptional qualities of the McDonough community. This year, Dean Dasmohapatra has introduced the MBA Awards & Gala, an expanded celebration for the MBA Class of 2024 designed to recognize these achievements more grandly.

MBA Awards Nominations:
We invite all members of the MBA community to participate in our awards program by either self-nominating or nominating colleagues. You can nominate MBA Graduating Students (Class of 2024), Faculty or Staff. Please fill out the MBA Awards form by April 18, 2024, at 5 p.m., to submit your nominations. Note that we will have more than one winner per category.
You can submit nominations for 10 awards:

Event: 2024 MBA Awards & Gala
Date & Time: May 10, 2024 - 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC
(2800 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20007)
Dress Code: Formal Attire (The idea is to look polished and elegant; cocktail attire or formal business attire is recommended. Please refer to the attached inspiration cocktail attire guide for examples.)
Attendees are not required or expected to wear “black-tie” (i.e. floor length gowns and tuxedos), but you are certainly welcome to do so!.

Tickets for the gala are priced at $25 each and will be available for purchase exclusively by graduating students through HoyaConnect. To ensure a smooth and inclusive ticketing process, we have organized the following phases for registration:
Phase 1 MBA Awards & Gala (Graduating Students Only):

Based on the venue capacity, it is confirmed that every graduating student will have access to ONE ticket.
Phase 2 MBA Awards & Gala (1 guest per Graduating Student):
Thursday, April 11, 2024 - 12:30 pm to Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - 5 pm

Phase 3 MBA Awards & Gala (Remaining tickets open to All MBA Community):

Eligibility
Only MBA students graduating in August 2023, December 2023, May 2024, and August 2024 are eligible to purchase tickets for Phases 1 and 2.
