Overview

From the Latin word consultare, meaning “to discuss”, consulting is the practice of providing professional or expert advice in a particular area, with the ultimate goal of identifying and delivering solutions to complex problems. Consultants may work for a dedicated consulting firm serving external clients in the public and private sectors, or may work on internal consulting projects within their home organization.
