General science is recommended for all students wishing to attain a base understanding before undertaking a specialist subject in Year 11. Students will cover all the sciences but with a focus on the Key Science Skills that are required for all VCE Science specialist subjects.
In Year 10 General Science, students will explore key scientific concepts and skills through a comprehensive curriculum that integrates core science streams such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. The following topics will be covered:
