Year 10 Dance has both theoretical and practical components. In practical classes students will participate in technique classes and choreographic classes. They will learn and perform a class group dance and will be involved in the choreography and performance of a solo/ duo/small group dance. In theoretical classes students will learn about analysis of dances choreographed by other choreographers and will look critically at the processes involved in choreographing, rehearsing and performing their own dances. Student's will study the function and care of a dancers body.
