Robot Description: Our robot picks up gems with a geared claw design that is fixed on a 4-bar arm that lifts the claw and keeps it level. The whole mechanism is fixed on a base plate that is powered by a tank-like wheel mechanism with a four wheel drive system that allows it to drive forwards, backwards, and swivel on the spot.
