Contest Description:
The year is 2053 and robots have become ubiquitous everyday life. Robots have even replaced humans in sport. Teams will face off in a robotic soccer match to determine the best robot and best team of engineers.
Contest Overview:
The contest field is separated into two halves, A and B. Your team will be arbitrarily assigned to start in the A or B half. Your robot must start within the 8"x8"x12" starting box in the designated starting area and may travel anywhere on the playing field during the 60 second contest duration. Note that a rail goes through the starting area and a robot may start suspended on the rail, but it does not have to. The base of the starting area has threaded holes, and the robots may be bolted to these holes if desired.
