Holocaust Education

Heathmont College ensures that students in years 9 and 10 are taught about the Holocaust and its continuing significance, to both understand the historical event, and to tackle rising anti-Semitism, racism and prejudice in our schools and broader society. This learning occurs for all students at Year 10 in conjunction with the text 'Jojo Rabbit' which incorporates aspects of the Humanities curriculum in teaching the context for the novel. It also occurs within the Year 10 History elective.
